Território situado no coração do Ribatejo, o concelho da Chamusca estende-se por entre os férteis campos da Lezíria, tem o rio Tejo “aqui ao pé da porta” e a charneca a fazer a transição para o Alentejo. Pertence ao distrito de Santarém, tem cerca de 750 km2 e 10 mil habitantes distribuídos por cinco freguesias. É banhado pelo rio Tejo. Pertence à região de vitivinícola do Tejo. É um território marcado pela fertilidade dos campos da Lezíria e pela riqueza da charneca.
